Whitney has been pretty tempermental with her cereal all of a sudden. I used to lean her back and she would eat and swallow the cereal just fine. Now that she knows how to sit up, she wants nothing to do with leaning back, so I sit her up. She doesn't quite know what to do with her tounge yet and most of the cereal falls back out. I can't make it too thick yet or she doesn't like it. She also can't be too hungry, or too full, or too tired, OR she just wants to eat the spoon. One point Whitney, zero mama.
LOLOLOL!!! How old is she? Abby did the same thing when she was four months old, so we waited a few more weeks and tried again, then she did fine. They start developing those skills around 5-6 months. It will just click one day and she'll be fine.
ReplyDeleteShe's almost 4 1/2 months and has been on cereal over three weeks. But now she wants to sit up and she knows what she wants and doesn't want. She's starting to develop a personality and I'm not so sure I like it!!
ReplyDeleteLOLOLOL! From your mouth to God's ears! How many times a day I say the same thing...When Abby spits it out, we stop and take her out of the high chair, and try again later. She wont starve, and she gets the point. Other than just waiting for the stage to pass, guess theres not much to do. She's so funny, I love her little round face! Miss you guys!!
