Change of Command

Wade had his Change of Command ceremony last Friday. He is now the commander of the 103rd Engineer Company, of the 94th Engineer Battalion. Command lasts at least 18 months and Wade will be in charge of approximately 190 soldiers. Pretty big company. In the last week we have gotten a taste of command. Last friday before we could even leave town Wade needed to drive back on post for a signature, and last night we had our first late night with Wade taking care of certain issues. He got home for about 10 minutes after 10 o'clock and was called back in, not getting home until almost midnight. Poor guy!

  1. Welcome to the world of command! Hopefully it's not that busy all the time. My huge thanks is that Justin is deployed while in command....meaning I can't complain when he's home late because I know he just won't be home. Hopefully Wade's days get shorter :-) Congrats!
