Yes, I know it can snow it Missouri, but this is the first time we have seen it accumulate and stick! This is the second time we have lived here and the first time we have seen snow like this here. Usually it is ice, which we thankfully avoided this time around. Can't say the same for southern MO or nothern Arkansas. Being from Iowa, it amazes Wade and I how everything shuts down around here. Post has been closed for the second day in a row and all the schools are canceled. Hopefully they are open tomorrow so I can go to work..... Wade has been out predator hunting since he has been off work. He has been able to wear his winter whites and call in coyotes or foxes. Not with any luck though. Oh darn! If I wasn't preggo I would love to go out and shovel. I acutally like to shovel. I like to get outside after being cooped up. It's a great workout and it's satisfying to work up a sweat and to see a job well done. I'll leave the shoveling to Wade this year. But I'm not sure it's even worth it, given that it will be back in the 40's in a few days and this will all melt away....
We have a few things moved in to the house. Baby has more things there than we do! We have the crib moved in, and want to say a great big thank you to Jeff and Gayla for letting us use the crib. It's a beautiful oak sleigh crib that converts to a toddler bed. I feel so behind on being prepared for her. But we do still have 14 weeks left. My sister has loaned us numerous toys and bags and bags of quality clothes. We have been blessed that we are able to use hand me downs. They are gladly accepted!
